Our Story
For some, the first sign of snow means it is time to dig out the wool socks and blankets and go into hibernation or migrate south to warmer destinations.
For others, though, it means time to wax those skis or snowboards and hit the slopes! Waking up at the crack of dawn, dressing in winter gear to spend a day freezing my not seem appealing to a “winter hibernator”, however it is not all about the snow.
We are here to serve
The business was founded in 2001 when Adam moved from a private banking career to live and work in Chamonix. A keen skier, mountaineer and adventurer, Adam was as interested in exploring the mountains as he was in bringing people to Chamonix to share in his passion and real-life commitment to service and professionalism.
“We love the mountains and were taught to share…”, says Adam “and this ethos remains at the heart of what Chamonix Chalets does best”.
Adam and his team see hundreds of chalets in Chamonix and in other resorts and longstanding relationships with many of the owners and chalet operators that often go back 20 years. His energy, wealth of experience, local understanding provides our guests excellent holidays, events, activities and memories.

The simple website encouraged holidaymakers to contact us so that we could personally advise the best available chalets for them. We still think this is the best way to find a chalet and book a holiday, but the world has moved on and the large portals that provide holiday services allow customers to book and pay for holidays without the benefit if human interactions.
