Property Description
On the ground floor there is a large hall/boot room, and the living area is open plan, incorporating the kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The hand-made kitchen has a beautiful range, breakfast bar, granite worktops, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge with a small freezer unit. The chalet also has a washing machine and tumble drier in the spacious cellar/basement. The living/dining area is perfectly suited to relaxing in comfortable chairs around the fireplace, with large windows looking towards Mont Blanc and some beautiful sunsets. Upstairs on the first floor both of the bedrooms have French windows leading to a balcony with the same beautiful view. On the second floor the double bedroom has a free standing bath and basin, the other is a smaller twin bedroom with a basin, and the low beds in this room run into the pitch of the roof.
Outside there is a hot tub on the decking and then the garden, all south facing towards the wonderful view. There is also a garage with plenty of space, tucked in on the right hand side.
Miscellaneous information:
It is situated in the hamlet of Les Tines, a quiet spot ideally situated for mountain walks, with paths onto the Petit Balcons Nord and Sud quite literally just around the corner. The hamlet is close to both Chamonix and Argentiere as it lies just over 5 minutes' drive from either, and it also benefits from a good bus service and the little mountain train which runs up and down the valley between St Gervais and Martigny in Switerland.

Payment Policies
To secure the booking, a partial payment of 30% of the quote, is due within 2 days of guest confirmation of intention to book
Payment [plus a refundable damage deposit of €2,000.00] must be fully settled: within 56 days of the guest confirmation of intention to book.
We have a no-refund policy in the event of cancellation. However, at our discretion, refunds may be considered to the extent canceled dates can be filled at comparable rates. In such cases, a surcharge will apply.

Please ensure that any bank transfer or currency exchange fees are carried by the sender. Chamonix Chalets should receive the exact amount of the booking deposit and/or balance quoted to you.
StripePayments by debit or credit card will include a secure Stripe processing and administration charge of 3.5% of the amount being paid which will be automatically added to the booking amount.
If you pay the deposit by card the balance will automatically be debited from the same card a few days before the balance due date without notice.
If you would like to change your balance payment method please contact us as soon as you know.
Once payments are made you will receive formal confirmation via email.

>> All trash and perishables must be disposed of and dishes washed before departure.

>> A well behaved dog is sometimes allowed but please discuss with us in advance. The dog must be kept downstairs and off the furniture and must not be left alone in the chalet except for short periods. It should be kept on the lead outside the mazot. The mazot is suitable for children from about 5 years as the sleeping platform has an open tread ladder up to it.
All our guests are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the enjoyment of others. If in our opinion or in the opinion of any accommodation / chalet manager or host, representative or any other person in authority, your behaviour or that of any member of your party is causing or is likely to cause distress, danger or annoyance to any other guests or any third party, or damage to property, or to cause a delay or diversion to transportation, we reserve the right to terminate your booking with us immediately. In the event of such termination our liability to you and/or your party will cease and you and/or your party will be required to leave your accommodation / chalet or other arrangements immediately. We will have no further obligations to you and/or your party. No refunds for lost accommodation / chalet or any other arrangements will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of termination. You and/or your party may also be required to pay for loss and/or damage caused by your actions and we will hold you and each member of your party jointly and individually liable for any damage or losses caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or losses must be paid directly to the accommodation / chalet manager or representative or other supplier prior to departure. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.
We cannot be held responsible for the actions or behaviour of other guests or individuals who have no connection with your booking arrangements or with us.
Please note: we will monitor and implement any additional Covid-19 guidance or laws issued by local or national government in relation to the safe and effective delivery of services. We reserve the right to remove you from the accommodation / chalets should you not adhere to such guidance.
Smoking: You will understand that as most of our accommodation is made from wood or similar materials, we operate a strict no smoking policy in and around all of our resort and accommodation. You must not smoke in these areas. Due to the danger of fire, where you are found in breach of this no smoking policy, your actions will be considered “dangerous” and dealt with in accordance with the first paragraph of this clause.
