Can I book a ski weekend in Chamonix Mont Blanc?

Chamonix is not only one of the best ski resorts in the world it is also one of the most convenient and efficient destinations for ski weekends. A rapid motorway access direct from Geneva Cointrin airport to central Chamonix in just an hour means that planning a short or flexible ski holiday for private groups or corporate skiers is easy. There are also many transfer companies, short stay hotels, chalets and apartments and a fabulous array of incredible ski instructors or mountain guides available. This makes Chamonix the best ski resort in the world for ski weekends and corporate ski trips.

Can I park at the ski lifts in Chamonix Mont Blanc?

The ski areas are very well organised in Chamonix and every one of the base stations have substantial car parks. Most of them are free to use, however Les Brévents has a nominal daily parking fee. The biggest car park in Chamonix is at Les Grand Montets Argentière which is one of the best ski areas in the world for on piste and for off piste skiing. We recommend that you hire or bring a car when you come to Chamonix as there are 5 independent ski areas that are unconnected. With parking facilities are available everywhere having a car for your group makes for a much more convenient Chamonix holiday.

How does <website> work?

We are an agency and property owners list properties on the website. When enquiries are received, we contact the property owner and check the price and availability. We pass the holiday details on to you and give advice when asked. If you want to book a property, we give your details to the property owner and you pay direct. You pay us nothing. 

How to search for a property? 

The easiest and fastest way is to use the search form near the top of every page by simply searching by “Sleeps (up to)” but you can also narrow your search too or look for a specific property using the dropdown and/or other criteria to filter with.

Do I pay a commission to <website>?

No, you do not pay us anything for holiday bookings. For the sake of transparency, you should know that we may receive commission for introducing you to property operators and other service providers. 

How to make an enquiry?

At the bottom of every property listing is an enquiry form. Your contact details are mandatory and you will help us help you by giving as much details about your requirements as possible in the “Enquiry” field. 

Information such as your preferred chalet type, number of single beds, doubles/twins, children and their ages and location preferences as important to us as to you. The more we know about what works for you the more quickly we will send you proposals for suitable chalets.

How do I book and pay?

When you are ready to book, just let us know. We will then email you the contact details of the Property Owner and email your contact details to them too along with the basic information about your booking. The owner will get in touch and take you through their booking and payment process. This will typically involve completing a booking form, receiving Terms and Conditions and paying for your booking  with deposit and balance instalments.  The process varies from owner to owner so you should check carefully what they are and what is included or excluded in the price.

What are the booking conditions?

Booking Conditions vary from one owner to the next. When you make a booking, you will receive all the details from the property owner along with the small print.

Where is your office located? 

We are fortunate to have a lovely office in the centre of Chamonix, behind the Benetton shop on the high street at 16 Impasses des Rhododendrons. The kettle is always on so feel free to drop in should you need anything. The landline number is +33 (0) 4 50 78 01 95.

How do I buy lift passes?

Some owners will arrange your lift passes although they are usually a travel extra and not included in the price. You can also pre-book them with us and we will deliver them to you on your arrival day free of charge. Simply go to www.chamonixskipasses and book them securely online.

How do I book airport transfers?

Please check the booking details carefully to establish whether transfers are included in the price of holiday. If you need to book transfers you can do so with us at www.chamonixskitransfers.com securely online.

What is your refund / cancellation policy?

Each property owner will have their own specific terms and conditions relating to refunds and cancellations. Please check the holiday terms and conditions. As your contract will be direct with the owner you must be satisfied with the conditions before going ahead.
