DESCRIPTION
Heading through the entrance of Chalet Snowdon, the left side of the ground floor is occupied by the chalet's living areas. A well-equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing hearty mountain meals, sits closed off from the rest of the open-plan space. The focal point is the impressive stone fireplace, central to the room and separating the formal dining space from the sumptuously furnished, sunken living room.
A bar and study area can also be found in this area, with the living room benefitting from double-height ceilings, and tall picture windows that gaze out towards the natural beauty of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains. A spacious terrace and balconies that are all south-facing offer an inviting spot to best enjoy these views, and with Chalet Snowdon located in the area that gets the longest hours of sun in Chamonix, you would be foolish to not take advantage of this outdoor space.
Chalet Snowdon has an incredible list of spa facilities, making this a great place for a wellness retreat in addition to a ski holiday. On the spacious terraces off the ground floor, you will discover an outdoor swimming pool with a jet stream and an integrated Jacuzzi at one end. A second Jacuzzi can also be found on this terrace because nothing can quite beat soaking in the bubbles, sipping on a glass of bubbly, with the impressive Mont Blanc as your backdrop.
Downstairs in the chalet's basement you will find yet more spa facilities in the form of a sauna, steam room and massage room. For guests looking to keep themselves entertained away from the relaxation of the spa, Chalet Snowdon has an abundance of options. A dedicated games room can be found in the basement, but why take the stairs when you can take the slide? From the living room on the floor above, a slide leads into this room with table football, bar billiards and arcade games to keep guests of all ages engaged. Adjacent to this room is the TV lounge with beanbags and recliner seating on which to sink into as you enjoy a movie night.
