Chalet Kinabalu

Chamonix Sud

Chalet Kinabalu is a remarkable family property, meticulously restored to preserve its original charm and unique features while transforming it into an exclusive family home in the breathtaking setting of the Chamonix valley. Built originally in 1924 the chalet is brilliantly located, just a 5 – 10 minute stroll to the centre of Chamonix and near fabulous restaurants. Situated in a quiet road there are wonderful views up to Mont Blanc, the Glacier des Bossons and across to Brévent on the other side of the valley. A modern design within a traditional setting over four floors, the chalet is a delicious mixture of old and new . The interior is impressive, with the hand-made Ben Whistler furniture complementing the innovative design and open-plan layout.

On the ground floor there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room, plus a boot room with boot warmers. There is also an extra sitting room (with a single bed if required) and office area. Take a plunge in the hot tub, outside on the decking with fabulous views of Mont Blanc. On the lower ground floor there is a cosy snug with sofas, beanbags and a 130cm screen, there you can chill out with some DVDs. Next door is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom, with a further bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom can be found on the top floor, with stunning views from the floor to ceilig window as well as a separate bathroom. Please note that due to our licensing and insurance arrangements only our trained staff may work at the chalet.
