Chalet Felicia is a remarkable family estate, meticulously restored while preserving its original charm and distinctive features, creating an exclusive family residence in the picturesque Les Frasserands hamlet within the Chamonix valley. Dating back to 1764, it holds the distinction of being the oldest house in the hamlet, exuding a captivating charm and joyful ambiance.

The upper floor of the chalet features large bay windows that unveil breathtaking vistas of the renowned Grands-Montets ski area and the imposing 4,211-meter Aiguille Verte peak. From the living room and balcony, the panoramic view stretches across the entire Mont-Blanc range, spanning from the Aiguille du Tour near the Swiss border to the summit of the Aiguille du Goûter. This unparalleled panorama evolves from the first rays of sunrise to the moment when Chamonix’s iconic peaks, known as ‘Les Aiguilles,’ turn crimson during sunset.

The chalet boasts a semi-professional and highly adaptable Bulthaup kitchen equipped with Gaggenau appliances, designed to delight cooking enthusiasts. The kitchen includes a spacious range-cooker and a fabulous La Cornue rotisserie, creating an inviting and convivial space that opens onto the elegant living and dining room, where the stunning views can be savored.

This floor also houses the master bedroom and a small adjoining bedroom, both with their own bathrooms, as well as a spacious mezzanine for additional guests. The grand fireplace graces the former smoking room, ‘la bourne,’ adjacent to which the guest toilets have been thoughtfully integrated.

The ground floor accommodates three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a splendid ‘atelier’ bedroom, and a children’s bedroom that can accommodate extra beds. Additionally, this level features an entrance hall with a boot warmer and wardrobe, a guest toilet, and a laundry room.

The outdoor spaces of Chalet Felicia are enchanting, with manicured lawns, picturesque flower beds, a furnished terrace, and a barbecue area surrounded by a charming blend of farm buildings and traditional Alpine chalets in the authentic alpine hamlet.

Chalet Felicia is located in the hamlet of Montroc, tucked away at the very top of the Chamonix Valley past Argentiere and on the way up to the Le Tour ski area, which is a 4 minute drive (or bus ride) away. In the other direction, Argentiere is a 3 minute drive away. Argentiere is a charming, picturesque village near the top of the Chamonix Valley, at the foot of the majestic Grands Montets. Argentiere is a renowned destination for outdoor enthusiasts, attracting mountain lovers all year round. It is a truly beautiful village with classic alpine architecture, inviting cafés and traditional restaurants, buzzing and fun apres ski bars, all in a stunning mountain environment. The train and bus network provide easy access from Argentiere to Le Tour at the top of the valley, and also down to Chamonix which is located a 15 minute journey away.
